Velostat is a carbon impregnated polypropylene. The plastic itself would have a conductivity of zero. The carbon allows for a little conductivity. Material Choice
At the risk of being boring, I am doing velostat. I will be using it in conjunction with conductive fabrics to attempt a capacitor.
Velostat is made by 3M and ordered from Less EMF.

I have decide to do my Material Report on a a fully formable, thermoset, shape memory polymer (SMP) resin system. It comes in two parts: the resin and the curing agent. It pretty much works like muscle wires-when heated it becomes really flexible and is able to change shape under applied pressure and when it’s heated again it turns back to its cured shape.
